Subject Overview

Subject Introduction

Physical Education (PE) is “education through physical activities.” It aims to develop students’ physical skills and equip them with the knowledge of physical activities and safety, enabling them to participate in sports and adopt an active and healthy lifestyle. PE also helps students develop generic skills such as collaboration, communication, creativity, critical thinking, and aesthetic appreciation. Furthermore, it fosters positive values and attitudes towards sports, builds students’ self-confidence, and lays a strong foundation for lifelong and whole-person learning.
