In order to promote the spirit of the Church's missionary service, the CCC (Church of Christ in China) Wanchai Church applied to the Government in the 1960's for the purchase of a site to run a subsidized elementary school in the Yau Ma Tei area of Kowloon, named “Wanchai Church Kei To School”.
In October 1968, the morning session of Wanchai Church Kei To School was officially opened. Many of the former principals who were passionate about serving the Lord and had a sense of mission for the evangelization of children were the children’s teachers.
In 2005/2006, the school became a whole-day school and was renamed as “CCC Wanchai Church Kei To Primary School”.
In addition, the Wanchai Church Council has expanded its secondary education and evangelistic work in recent years by participating in the establishment of “CCC Kei To Secondary School” and setting up the 14th branch church in the school, in order to continue the primary education and realize the ideal of whole person education.
