簡介Introduction

課程目的
STREAM
是科學(Science),技術(Technology),閱讀(Reading),工程(Engineering),藝術(Art)和數學(Mathematics)的首字母縮寫略詞。通過STREAM教育,學生能夠綜合運用跨學科知識和技能以實際的解決方案和創新設計解決日常生活的問題。

策略

1.         常規課程:

以常識科、科學科作主導科目,並於各科常規課程中加入STREAM元素,達致STREAM教育普及化。

2.         自學活動:

於小息期間,學生可到STREAM挑戰站(AI Space),挑戰不同STREAM學具以培養學生對科學、科技的學習興趣。

3.         精英培訓:

舉辦STREAM資優小組和課後活動;以提升學生對科學、編程及設計循環的知識及培養學生的協作和解難能力。

4.         參與比賽:

參加校外STREAM活動和比賽,以刺激他們的思維能力及訓練他們的創新和解難能力。

5.         多元活動:

舉辦全校「創新科技日」,當中包括多元化的學習活動,除了讓學生接觸不同範疇的科技外,他們還動手創作,以設計循環改良作品。

Subject Objectives

STREAM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. Through STREAM education, students can comprehensively apply interdisciplinary knowledge and skills to develop practical solutions and innovative designs for solving real-life problems.

Strategies:

Regular Curriculum

With General Studies and Science as the leading subjects, STREAM elements are integrated into the regular curriculum of all subjects to achieve the popularization of STREAM education.

Self-directed Learning Activities

Students can visit the STREAM Challenge Station (AI Space) to tackle various STREAM learning tools during recess, fostering their interest in learning science and technology.

Elite Training

Organize STREAM gifted groups and after-school activities to foster students’ understanding of the knowledge about science, programming, and circular design, as well as cultivate their collaboration and problem-solving abilities.

Competition Participation

Engage students in off-campus STREAM activities and competitions to stimulate their critical thinking skills and train their innovation and problem-solving capabilities.

Diversified Activities

“Innovative Technology Day” will be hosted, which includes a variety of learning activities. In addition to exposing students to different areas of technology, these activities also encourage hands-on creation, allowing them to improve their circular design.
